Registration/Continental Breakfast Take time to have a Danish and coffee as we meet and greet our fellow attendees. 9:00 am - 9:30 am Current Solutions The presentation will focus on the advantages of FIA relating to solution-based configurations, point of testing troubleshooting, expandability, and flexibility. 9:30 am - 10:00 am Automated Wet Chemistry and Lab Enhancements We will discuss future applications concerning EPA approved methods, automated sample preparation with in-line methods, new applied detectors, lower detection limits for Perchlorate Testing and Total Phosphorous, effects of a longer path length detectors, improved seawater methods and dual digestion of TN/TP Alkaline Persulfate and more. 10:10 am - 10:55 am TOC and Tough Matrices This 45-minute presentation will focus on what you can do to obtain good data quality in tough matrices as well as looking at the value to bring TOC testing in house for those currently subcontracting. 11:15 am - 12 noon PerkinElmer LABWORKS LIMS This presentation will focus on improving laboratory productivity, efficiency and quality through the use of a LIMS, highlighting automated data collection from Lachat/Radiometer instruments. 12 noon - 1:30pm Complimentary Lunch 1:30 pm - 2:15 pm Titration, pH and Conductivity This 45-minute presentation will focus on some easy troubleshooting tips for identifying what is wrong with your titration, what you can do to obtain longer life on electrodes, as well as looking at reasons to automate using a Radiometer Titrator. 2:15 pm - 3:00 pm Buchi Automated Digestion, Distillation and Extraction This 45-minute presentation will focus on automated TKN digestions as well as Soxhlet Extractions. 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm Lachat Users Meeting All instruments and software will be available at the seminar.
